After the international spotlight of the Winter Games, Milan continues to thrive with a vibrant calendar of events dedicated to design, fashion, civic participation and sustainable mobility.
As everyone knows, Milan has always been a dynamic city.
People either love it or hate it for its ability to completely absorb you with its many facets — witty, innovative and curious. A city that constantly reinvents itself through events that involve neighborhoods, institutions, creatives and local communities.
From the famous Design Week to Fashion Week, passing through initiatives like Civil Week, 2026 once again confirms Milan as one of the European capitals of culture, innovation and style.
With the arrival of spring, the city breathes new energy made of events, creativity and encounters that fill its streets and neighborhoods. Here are some of the most interesting events of the coming months — and the ones where you might find us, a little secretly, telling their stories.
1 – Milan Design Week and Salone del Mobile
20 – 26 April 2026
Open your ears if you are interested in innovation, architecture and contemporary design. Milan Design Week has become one of the city’s most iconic events, loved by locals as much as by visitors coming from all over the world.
The week brings together the Salone del Mobile — taking place from 21 to 26 April 2026 at Fiera Milano Rho — and hundreds of Fuorisalone events spread across creative districts such as Brera, Tortona and Isola.
Installations, exhibitions and experimental projects transform Milan into an international laboratory of ideas, design and creativity.
2 – Milan Civil Week
May 2026 (exact dates may vary)
This week focuses on civic participation, volunteering and community engagement. Civil Week is dedicated to active citizenship, featuring meetings, social initiatives, cultural projects and activities spread across the city’s neighborhoods.
The goal is to highlight the fundamental role played by associations, volunteers and the third sector in building a more inclusive and participatory Milan.
3 – Piano City Milano
May 2026 (dates may vary)
A celebration of music that transforms the entire city into an open-air stage. Piano City Milano brings concerts into unexpected places — from parks and courtyards to private homes and iconic locations.
The focus is on accessibility and shared cultural experiences, offering a unique way to enjoy live piano performances across different neighborhoods and atmospheres. It’s one of those events that reveals a softer, more intimate side of Milan.
4 – Milan Fashion Week – Women’s Edition
22 – 28 September 2026
This will be the moment that fashion lovers — and of course the major fashion houses — have been waiting for: discovering the Spring/Summer 2027 collections while enjoying the last warm days of the Milanese late summer.
This will be the second fashion week of the year. The first edition already took place earlier in the season, once again placing Milan at the center of the international fashion scene with runway shows, events and presentations from leading global brands.
5 – Feel Me Bike Week
October 2026
The main theme will be sustainable mobility and bicycle culture.
This event celebrates urban cycling and a slower way of experiencing the city, with group rides, talks and activities promoting a more conscious and responsible way of moving through Milan.
6 – Milano Music Week
November 2026 (dates may vary)
Dedicated to the music industry and contemporary sound, Milano Music Week gathers artists, producers, labels and music lovers from all over Italy and beyond.
With talks, live performances, showcases and industry events, the city becomes a hub for musical innovation and exchange. It’s the perfect moment to explore Milan through its evolving soundscape and creative energy.
