We all know Como and its lake as one of the most popular destinations in North of Italy.

How to go from Milan to Como?
Lake Como its easy to reach from Milan. You have many options to go to Como and you’ll have enough time for a wonderful day trip. For sure the train is the best option.
Either the train from Milano Nord Cadorna station or the train from Milano Central Station.
In maximum one hour you’ll reach destination and you’ll be ready for an amazing day.
What to do in Como?
- Take a walk in the beautiful historical city center.
Here you can discover amazing architecture, ancient churches and many shops and restaurants.

- Hike to a viewpoint.
There are many easy and short hikes that you can do near Como. For instance you can take the cable car to Brunate and walk around; “Volta lighthouse” is a great spot.
Take a bus and then hike to Baradello castle for an unique view on the valley and on the lake.

- Take a ferry to reach another village.
You can decide either for a long trip to the famous Bellagio, and discover the town and the other villages around (like Varenna, Menaggio).
Or go for a short trip to Cernobbio for example. Enjoy the view and eat in some typical restaurants (Like “Osteria Beuc”)
